Marshmallow updates are out there over the air to be downloaded on android 1st generation lollipop devices and hopefully it will be over the air in January-February 2016 for 2nd generation lollipop devices.

Let's check out the list of devices which are going to get this updates:

Very first to get are Google Nexus devices,

Google's Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA (over the air) update to the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9 and Nexus Player has begun. The rollout will occur in stages, with some carriers set to receive the update sooner than others.

Asus Android Marshmallow update

Asus is a little slow to update its devices, although the Zenfone models are now on Android Lollipop. You can expect the same range, including the new Zenfone 2, to get Android Marshmallow in Asus' own time.

Cyanogen OS.

Elephone P8000 is in the news for confirmation by the company that Android Marshmallow will be available for it.

Lenovo’s K3 Note is also high on the expectations list.

Option for Rooted upgrade for other devices would be CyanogenMod 13, Cyanogen  developers are working hard and it is hard to work on its Marshmallow ROM and will only be available in early 2016.

The Google Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2012) and Nexus 10 are not scheduled to receive the update.

Google Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are the devices which are launched with Android 6.0 pre-installed, in and after October 2015.
