Apple on Tuesday circulated invitations to a press conference on March 7th where the Cupertino-based technology giant will unveil its next-generation iPad tablet.

- a new quad-core Apple A6 processor,
- a larger battery,
- embedded 4G LTE connectivity,
- an 8-megapixel camera and
- an exterior design that is very similar to the current iPad 2 but with a slightly modified case .
