Samsung Unveils The Next Generation SmartTable – Samsung SUR40 (Video)

This is not the Samsung Biggest  tablets power by Android OS, but an entirely different story. A lot of companies busy with Quad Core Android 4.0 tablet, but Microsoft Surface was busy wowing folks with its larger than life touchscreen experience. Now the next generation of Microsoft Surface is available for preorder, courtesy of the Samsung SUR40. The Samsung SUR40 can be used as a table, wall-mounted screen or kiosk. Combined with Xbox’s Kinect, which already may have business uses, the Surface effort could gain traction.



Microsoft Surface is a platform surface that meets the natural gestures of the hand and real-world objects. This is a 360-degree user interface, 30-inch XGA reflective surface of the bottom surface of the DLP projector which projects the image onto its underside, while the machine frame with four cameras record reflections of light objects Infrared and fingers of the man on the surface. The surface is capable of object recognition, recognition of object orientation / finger tracking, and multi-touch and multi-user. Users can interact with the machine touching or dragging their fingertips and objects such as brushes across the screen, or by placing and moving placed objects. This paradigm is a combination of computers known as Natural User Interface.


According to Microsoft and Samsung, the street price for the Samsung SUR40 will be about $8,400 and is available now  at Samsung official site for pre-order in 23 countries.
