Well, last month, we seen Galaxy Nexus which is the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich Smartphone for us and it’s looks best OS so far with great features combine of smartphone. It may be big selection issue for us as Samsung galaxy S2 or Galaxy Nexus?

Galaxy S2 already hits market and very popular one and hold some excellent specs while Nexus Prime seems somehow minor upgrade with only positive points of Android ICS!  Here, i compare both of the Android phones,

Reasons for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Latest Android OS
Android 4.0 ICS (Extra Features: Face Unlock, smart UI, better communication and sharing, New types of connectivity)
Better Screen Resolution
Much higher resolution screen ( 1280×720 vs 800×480 )
Better PPI screen
Much higher PPI screen ( 315 PPI vs 218 PPI )

Slightly larger screen ( 4,6″ vs 4,3″ )

Reasons for the Samsung Galaxy S2

Better Processor
Samsung Galaxy S2′s CPU (Dual Core 1.2 Ghz processor) Samsung Exynos 4210 with quad-core Mali-400 GPU is better than Galaxy Nexus CPU (Dual Core 1.2 Ghz processor)of 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 TI OMAP 4460.

Much faster max data speeds (HSDPA 42,2 mbps vs HSDPA 21 mbps )

Higher resolution camera ( 8 MP vs 5 MP )
Better Display
Super AMOLED Plus vs Super AMOLED ( Super AMOLED Plus  screens are clearer, thinner, and use less energy )

Sure, the Galaxy Nexus comes with Ice Cream Sandwich while the Galaxy S2 comes only with Android 2.3.5, but Samsung is likely to get the upgrade to ICS. I think Galaxy SII still have edge over Galaxy Nexus except Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS which may give reason for us to go for new smartphone!
