Hello friends,

I am back here again with great resolution for you Windows 10 computers !

Sometimes people can't understand why brand new Windows 10 computers are very slow, lags, freezes a lot and some time even crashes. In fact found some out of box computer behaving in the same way.

Some people starts to think of such PCs as piece of crap/lemon/junk.

Just want to tell you that it is simple software issue.

Just open Taskmanager using cortana and click on show more options and you will see which services and apps are causing this trouble.
This issue has caused PC manufacturers millions & billion of dollars in products returns and servicing them. Because most of us don't even try to fix. Who tried it cost them time and efforts.

Let's now talk about fixing it !

Step no. 1

See if you have Goolgle chrome browser on the computer because Google chrome is one of the slow performance reason on win10.

Prediction service in chrome browser is seems to be conflicting with Windows 10 services and causing 100% disk usage.

Go to the settings of chrome browser then go to advance there you will find predictive options, just unchecked it.

Step 2:

Check if you have Skype installed on the computer :

Make sure you have exited Skype and it is not running in the taskbar (if it is running in the taskbar then quit it).
Open Windows Explorer and open the following folder:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\"
Now right click "Skype.exe" file and then click "Properties" and open the "Security" tab.
Click the "Edit" button and then highlight "ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES" and place a tick in the "Write" box.
Click "Apply" and then "OK" and then "OK" again.

Step 3:

Go to run box by pressing Windows key + 'r' on the keyboard, now type in msconfig click OK.

It will pop up system configuration box.

In this box go to services, there would be huge list of services.

You have to find out for the superfetch and the windows search service, find them and uncheck both of them.

To make it easier to find you can simply type superfetch really fast it will take you there. Do the same for Windows search, but when you will press space-bar it will disable Windows module service which then you have to scroll up and enable again.

Click apply and okay it will ask you to restart do it.

Step 4:

In this  step you need to right click on the windows icon the select device manager in there look for ATPI adapter with green chip icon, click on arrow left to it, underneath it you will see one option, double click on it and it will pop up device properties box, go to details, in there from drop down select Hardware ID, now in list make a note of first Hardware ID.

Now again go to run box remove msconfig from there and put in regedit. In regedit select System>current control set>enum>PCI>now look for the one which looks like the Hardware ID we noted earlier>underneath it there would be one more number option select it> Device parameters> under which on right side you will have MSI Support double click on it and you will see value assigned to it would be 1 make it 0.

Close regedit.

Hopefully it will resolve the issue if not then create new users account and go to the settings>Account add new local account and try it.

Check in here if it works.

Still not working then need to run powershell commands to reconfigure some Apps:

Windows defender: Found it to be conflicting with 3rd party antivirus apps so in order to disable it run powershell commands >

Set-MpPreference -DisableRealtimeMonitoring $true

Check if it makes difference.

Try this Windows Defender Uninstaller
Try this commands on command prompt:

sc stop windefend

sc delete windefend

Then fix below registry:

. Next you need to grant full permissions to and delete the following registry key so the Defender Control Panel entry can be deleted:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
\ControlPanel\NameSpace\{D8559EB9-20C0-410E-BEDA-7ED416AECC2A}
3. Also grant full permission and delete the Defender program registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Defender
4. Now take ownership of and delete the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Windows Defender
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender
C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Defender (for 64-bit users only)
After that is done, Defender should now be removed. Windows may complain that Defender is turned off but this will disappear after a reboot or you can go into Action Center and tell it not to monitor your anti spyware software.
Step six

Still not fix then run below powershell commands:

Use the Powershell command

  1. Press the CTRL + SHIFT + ESC hotkey combination to open task manager.
  2. Click File, then and choose Run New Taskfrom the drop down menu.
  3. Type powershell in the Open line of theCreate New Task pop-up window and clickOK
  4. Now right click powershell from the task bar and select run as administrator from the pop-up menu
  5. Now copy/paste the following command in the command prompt of the Powershell Window that has a blue background:

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  6. Press the ENTER key. Wait for the command to finish the reboot your system and then test to see if Cortana and Start Menu are now working.
Then try another powershell ccommand:

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Should work now otherwise eliminate third-party apps and see.

Last step download windows 10 ISO from Microsoft reinstall fress OS.

I added to much of info colabrated by different sources.

Believe me first 4 steps are generally require.

Note:  create restore point before trying above steps, if you are not confident don't perform above steps it may corrupt the  operating system.
